What a stove! We were contacted by a very prominent Barrister in Brussels about a couple of stoves he had, this being one of them, wondering if we wanted to buy them because he liked the way Tom restored our stoves. Fast forward a few weeks and we found ourselves at the Barrister’s rather lovely house. We were welcomed by his wife and daughter, given tea and then recruited the gardener and handyman and the Barrister to actually get these amazing but very large and heavy stoves into our van. After much shoving and heaving the deed was done. This is number two of the restorations (the heaviest one is yet to do) and what a thing of beauty it is. It can be used as a conventional stove as intended or if you want it for Bio Ethanol we could remove the a couple of parts from the inside and our square Bio box fits perfectly in and would also work brilliantly well. You can make your choice. It would certainly be the stand out piece of any room that it was in that’s for sure.
